The Cox’s Bazar sea beach is the longest sea beach in the world which is 120 Km long from Teknaf to Cox’s Bazar. This beach is totally unbroken sandy beach and reachable from one end to another end by foot alongside wavy water. It is the biggest tourism place of Bangladesh.

The ancient name of Cox’s Bazar was Palongkee. Once upon a time it was also known was Panowa which means yellow flower. Then this area was naturally decorated with this flower.
